Summary
s the director of 'Bilal: A New Breed of Hero' and co-director on “Mirlo & The Magical Opus,’ the much-anticipated animated features fully-funded(and produced) in Dubai, I've spent the last 5 years working in collaboration with Barajoun Entertainment. Together, we've successfully adapted the true story of Bilal ibn Rabah into an animated epic, with the latter presently in development. My role being instrumental in the development of the films’ direction, story and screenplay.
In addition to filmmaking and storytelling, I've also supplied freelance design services for over 12 years specializing in the digital delivery of scaled sculptures and branded character art, including designs for Marvel, Disney, Warner Bros., Sega, and Sony. My capabilities extend across mediums, and I have been honored with numerous awards, including a feature spread in EXOTIQUE’s The World’s Most Beautiful Character issue, and exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, France. My film, BILAL: A New Breed of Hero was recently nominated for 'Best Animated Film' at the Asian Pacific Screen Awards 2016. It was also awarded 'Most Inspiring Film' on Animation Day at the Cannes Film Festival 2016.
A childhood love of comic books drove my pursuit for story telling and artistic perfection, and I honed my skills at the prestigious Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture. I love to sculpt! And I aim to create rich content thriving with originality, doing my homework with regards to demographics and objectives.
